Please congratulate our Gideon, the oldest son in a child family we were so Blessed to meet 7 years ago now. Gideon has just been accepted into Uganda Technical College in eastern region - one of a handful of highly recognized Tech Colleges throughout Uganda - as one of 5 students in the water engineering 2 year diploma program. (Following this diploma program, Gideon plans to enter University for another 3 year program to obtain his degree.) Gideons amazing 1st in class marks making him a student of distinction at the polytechnic school he graduated from last November qualified him to be considered for a government scholarship. Weve just received the amazing news, Gideons first year school fees will be covered by the Ugandan government as their way to support and encourage him onward toward his water engineering degree. Here is our guy, just yesterday, with a whole bunch of new tools he bought, requirements for school, thanks to support from his Canadian friend, Jim, who has been and continues to support Gideon with the educational expenses he needs help with, like these tools….
