Please dont ask me why I dont believe in god as I never ask anyone why they believe (or dont believe) in god or gods. I lost god when I was abused as a child when I was in a religious institution I lost god when a historic mosque was destroyed in the name of birthplace of a god I lost god when I felt that god is deployed to support the powerful and fool the poor I lost god when I saw the oppressors and the occupiers being proponents of faiths I lost god when I found it is mostly innocents who get killed and brutalised and no one comes to rescue them I lost god when I refused to accept that there must be some gods will behind a world with child who get abused, persons who get raped, people who get massacred, families that starve or have to sell their dignities to survive and custodians of faiths pontificate over form and not the spirit. If your god or gods help you be a better and caring human beings, you have my respect. Let us live and let live but please dont tell me how not to live
