That email response to me indicated that for such as scheduling request I needed to submit that in writing with details about what it was all about and how I proposed the Governor would participate. In response I dropped off for you at your mail room about 11am on July 30th a hardcopy of the document at this link making that invitation for Noon on July 31st. The police were not at all interested in what it was all about, refused to take papers explaining it and refused to call your office to verify what I was saying and to get some kind of exemption. I realize this was a very short notice request and that the Governor was out of town as you mentioned, but I am hoping you can confirm by return email that he has received my letter personally and also the above invitation document /PeaceMessageAcknowledgement.html. I had to leave Sacramento today August 2, 2014, to keep on my schedule across country to offer the same Peace Pole ceremony at the United Nations in late September and to President Obama at the White House on October. 24th.
