Please enjoy this video of our young House Wrens and Immature Cedar Waxwings. The vocalizations and behaviors of each species are as different as the birds themselves. I am posting this in memory of a friend, and fellow wildlife rehabilitiator that passed away yesterday. Beth Knapp-Tyner was director of Wild at Heart Wildlife Rehabilitation, Rutherfordton, North Carolina. She was a terrific person with such an engaging smile she could put man or beast at ease in a heartbeat. Her spirit was as sweet as the little birds on the video. Our thoughts are with her family tonight. Fly free Beth until we meet again.
