Please, everyone. Allow me to summarize the plot to Leap Year for you all. Girl A is in love with Guy A. Guy A is a healthy, well meaning, sincere and successful individual whose only fault that the movie establishes is that he is subjectively taking too long to propose to Girl A. This of course is established by Girl As character. Lets skim the irrelevant plot points shall we? Tired of waiting Girl A a takes a taxi, driven by Guy B, to get to Guy A in order to propose to him. On the way she technically cheats on Guy A both physically and emotionally with Guy B. Then when she arrives to Guy A, Guy A proposes to her almost immediately. Girl A accepts knowing full well that at this point she would rather be with Guy B, accepts the proposal. At this point every problem stated in the opening of the movie as been resolved.
