Please examine these photos carefully. The 3rd photo (with the mountains) is what convinced me. Jan-Udo Siefkes wrote the following: "Philip Gilchrist sent me these pictures he took over New Zealand on Monday. Here his message: I took the attached Photo IMG- 0964 in Wanaka on Monday with the EOS 70D. When I uploaded it I saw what I thought was a dust spot, when cropping it I saw a moon and noticed that spot appears different to the usual dust spots that I had with the 30D (see enhanced cropped image 3170). I have not had any other spots on my photos with the 70D. Enhancing it in Picasa I got the attached results which makes the object appear spherical."
