Please excuse the rant and maybe Im alone with my opinion, but this fake outrage and criticism against President Obama from the media and our TMZ-politicians (past: Half-Gov. Palin, and current: Sen. Rubio) is disgusting and pathetic. I expect this nonsense from Fox News and CNN, but seeing Charlie Rose & White House Press Corp. jumping on the idiot bandwagon is sad. R.I.P. Tim Russert, we miss and need you. Lets not forget that these are the same clowns rejoicing for freedom fries. I guess fighting and bombing AQ, Taliban, ISIS and AQAP at the same time is not enough to show our unity/resolve against terrorism. Billions in tax payer aid is not enough. How in the hell can we show unity to the world, when we cant even show unity in our own country?!? To be honest if he would have went, aside from the logistics & security involved, they would have complained about the money used to go to France and then tried to claim the Pres. is trying to make it about himself. Sending another person in administration would not have mattered either. If our so called public servants really felt some type of way about going, they should have went; its not like theyre doing anything good for the US. Not to take anything away from the tragedy and hardship in Paris (its a moment/wound they and the world will never forget), but where is the outrage for the massacre in Nigeria, the thousands of refugees struggling food and shelter, the homeless families/children in the US, and the murdered students in Mexico. True the march was a powerful moment in history of the world, but weve tarnished it with our pettiness. ...I consider myself to be a faithful person, but not very religious. Organized religion is starting to be more about power/control than about belief/devotion. Im not going to act like I know the ins/outs of Islam, but every Muslim in the world should not be held accountable for psychotic zealots that seek to destroy them and the rest of the world. The Muslims that I know/met are some of the kindest, gracious, selfless and most family oriented people Ive ever had the pleasure to meet. When domestic-Christian zealots blow up buildings and kill healthcare providers, are we asked to be held accountable, No!!! When psychopaths in US do mass & school shootings, its considered blasphemy to even question the NRA. American Exceptionalism is not being the bully on the block, but welcoming and celebrating the diversify we represent to the rest of the world. I just hope one day we all WAKE UP and realize that we share this precious/fragile planet and need to learn how to live together before its too late.
