Please feel free to share on FB and any other social media platform that you may be on... While the mayor taps the big financial institutions for questionable contributions, many aldermen find real estate management companies a lucrative source of campaign cash. Our alderman Moore tapped nearly $100,000 in campaign contributions in 2013 alone - much of that from real estate related firms. Just like Rahms conflict of interest, so too for our alderman. How do justify zoning variances while taking in campaign cash? How do you go after problem property owners/managers while taking in campaign cash? How do avoid the appearance of favors while taking in campaign cash? Theres only one way and thats not to take ANY campaign contributions which Ive pledged to do and our alderman obviously has not. And btw... when you see all those Moore signs popping up in January on the lawns of large apartment buildings, its NOT the tenants putting up the signs...
