Please fellow panther fans calm down. Gett the gm has 2 super bowl rings as a gm he knows what he is doing by cutting smith. Smith is old and not that productive anymore this is the NFL and careers do not last that long. This is cam and Lukes team now. Lets bring in some young talent and try to win a super bowl. Smith deserves all the respect In The world and im sure he will have a memorial at bank of america stadium in time but I think they r making the right moves and I believe the panthers will contend next year despite not having smith.
