Please give this 5 minutes...May be you are one of us.. CAT 2013,conducted by IIM Indore with the help of prometric, has left thousands of students affected by major discrepancies in results this year. More than 95 percentiles one section and as low as eighteen, twenty five, fifty two percentiles in another did come as a shocker to many aspirants! We,a bunch of those, decided a month back to take a stand against this non transparent system of evaluation where even our raw scores and method of evaluation is kept undisclosed! The current system says,”Learn to digest your results, accept your failures and move on”. But today after persistent efforts weve been able to get, a 4-0!!! We are overwhelmed by the tremendous support and confidence people are showing in us to take a stand against a faulty system and With each judgement that gets passed in our favor, our faith turns stronger that many more affected students like you will muster up courage and join hands with us in our fight for transparency! All the 4 HCs (Delhi, Indore, Chennai and Allahabad) where we had approached have agreed to the fact that it is our right to know the raw scores and the normalization method in detail. Indore HC has sent a legal notice to all the IIMs, Prometric and MHRD, Govt of India. Allahabad HC has sent notices to IIM-Indore, Prometric and MHRD, Govt of India. And most importantly, Chennai HC has ordered for a partial stay in filling 8 seats in each IIMs till the final outcome of the petition. Friends, we are very close to the finishing line but still there are miles to go before we sleep. You may be a CAT 2013 candidate and/or a CAT 2014 aspirant! if you want to be a part of this movement for transparency and justice, please join our FB group https://facebook/groups/238510066327214/. We are also planning for a mass petition to be on a legally safer side in case only the mass petitioners get benifitted with judgements! We are in discussions with our panel of lawyers. Details for the same will be announced in our FB group very soon. Moreover, we lack funds. If you believe that it is high time the system of evaluation for such coveted institutions should turn transparent, please support our cause by donating as per your capability. Details for donations are mentioned in our website: catdiscrepancy.net/?page_id=6 I hope you would stand with us as same faulty systems may affect you today or tomorrow! We don’t demand much, but a fair and transparent evaluation of our efforts.!
