Please help!! Our lorikeet is about 7-8 months old. We have had it for most of this time. It used to be friendly and love a pat but for about a month it has been acting strange. It started off by arching its neck at me and chasing me away from its cage now it screeches when my husband or I try to pick it up. Then just flys off our hand no matter How high up it is. It loves our dog and they play together..has it become too attached to the dog instead of us? Any ideas why it may be acting like this. We want our old playful skittles back :(
