Please help the Neurological Alliance with an important survey As part of the changes to the NHS in England, the NHS have agreed to run strategic clinical networks (SCNs) for neurological conditions. The networks will work with patient groups and health professionals to reduce variation in access to services and the quality of care and treatment that people receive. In future, these networks will be important in ensuring the best possible treatment for people with dystonia. The Neurological Alliance, of which is the Dystonia Society a member, is developing a ‘SCN blueprint’ which will set out what an SCN for neurological conditions should look like and how its success should be measured. They would like to hear from people with neurological conditions, their families and carers about what the priorities for these networks should be. Your views will be used to develop the SCN blueprint and shared with national and local decision-makers to try to influence how care is delivered.
