Please help us, help this sweet beautiful girl Summer! Overall estimated vet bill will be $800-1000 to remove right eye due to cancer. Summer is about 5 months old and is one of our new rescue kitties . A “lucky” picture we took alerted us to a potential problem with one of her eyes. As you can see her right eye responded differently to the flash and on examination and consultation with our vet, we learned that Summer has a melanoma growing in her right eye. The eye will need to be removed for Summer to survive. The cancer was discovered in early stages so Miss Summer should go on to live a long and happy life. One-eyed kitties can have a great indoor life…just ask 2 (one-eyed) Caswell Pet Lifeline alumni kitties Todd (adopted and now named Hootie) and Baby Ruth (adopted and now named Jinx).
