Please if you are sick call your elderly relatives, explain it to them and dont bring them the flu that is indeed in this area now. They could get secondary pneumonia and you could inadvertently make this their last Christmas. The strain circulating is not in the vaccine this year. The CDC picks 3 or 4 candidates and puts them in the vaccine. Often they do miss because of rapid transit of carriers from other countries. The flu can be in China this morning and landing in Atlanta by sunset. A flu that is not known to the western hemisphere, that we have no resistance against. I know most of you would feel awful if you spread illness and caused a premature death. I also know many of you are church going Christians. Im sure God knows if you are sick or not and would prefer you to not make others ill. Something as mild as a cold to you could be the last straw for the elderly or infirm. Consideration and thoughtfulness may be the most precious gift you can give this year but human life is priceless.
