Please join us for: C-U Autism Networks September Meeting Where: Christopher Hall-Family Resiliency Center, 904 W. Nevada, Urbana When: Thursday, September 4th from 6:30-8:00 pm * Note new time This is our first scheduled meeting for the 2014-2015 school year. Our meeting will feature Jonathan Westfield and David Smysor from the Champaign and Urbana Police Department. They will be discussing the Person’s with Disability Emergency Information forms. This is a form that they police departments will keep on file to provide critical information to emergency responders in the event of a crisis. Come ready to meet new friends, share your knowledge, and talk about what you want for the upcoming year. Please Note: We are offering two childcare options for the meeting on September 4th. For children from toddlers to age 5, we offer a childcare option. For children age 6 and above we will be offering a Yoga/Activity Group. This year our Yoga group will be run by Kathryn Fitzgerald, the co-founder/co-owner of Amara Yoga & Arts. She holds a Masters in Fine Arts and Special Education and has over 15 years teaching experience working with kids with Aspergers, Autism, and other special needs. For anyone bringing children to the meeting, please pre-register your children for one of our childcare options. There is no charge for the service, but your children need to be registered by noon on Tuesday, September 2nd.
