Please join us in support of JOE the cat, who was shot in the head with a pellet gun 17x and lost and eye, and amazingly enough, survived! You can also show your support by wearing orange and/or purple. Maybe dress up as Joe, or put on some cat ears! Bring your home made signs, or orange & green balloons. And, your voices! For your comfort please consider a lawn chair, water, snacks and warm clothing. We take Animal Cruelty & Abuse very seriously, in the hopes of harsher laws and penalties. But please my friends, this has got to be a NO-ARREST-PROTEST! Also very important: ABSOLUTELY NO GUNS, pellet guns, toy guns. No life-like or life size representations of a gun will be tolerated. Consider carpooling, shuttling with friends and your fellow animal enthusiasts. Remember, it is the law that we remain only on the sidewalk, and the grass surrounding the sidewalk. We must be mindful to refrain from congregating on the actual roads and we must not block any traffic. The protest rally is starting at 8:45am, but if you are working or cannot be there right at that time, no worries. ANY TIME will do. We will be there for the better part of the day. We would love for people to even take 15 minutes out of their day to come support. Please spread the word! And if youre driving by, give us a toot! And finally, I think we all realize this is on its way to becoming notable local event. We will unite over heart break and outrage and we will celebrate the fact we get to do this together!
