Please join us on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, 7:30 p.m., at the Port Franks Community Centre, when our guest speaker, Jill Crosthwaite, presents Conservation in Action - Nature Conservancy Canadas Work in Southwestern Ontario. Jill, Assistant Conservation Biologist with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, will give an overview of Nature Conservancy of Canada - who they are and what they do - followed by a discussion of their stewardship work in Southwestern Ontario, with a focus on their Port Franks properties. Jill will also talk briefly about other Nature Conservancy properties in Southwestern Ontario that have good walking/hiking opportunities. The Port Franks Garden Club welcomes everyone to their monthly meetings- you do not have to be a member to attend. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided - hope to see you there on the 18th!
