Please keep our fellow Lizard in your thoughts and prayers. Here is a note posted by Dihms dad : Scotts Dad with a special report. Scott was driving home from work Monday and was involved in a serious crash. Another vehicle lost control on an icy bridge, crossed the center-line and hit Scotts car. Both cars were totaled. Scott was taken to the Trauma Unit at the VCU Virginia Medical Center, Richmond, Va. He immediately underwent surgery for a ruptured spleen. His injuries include broken shoulder bones and ribs, collapsed lung, some kidney damage and a weakened aorta wall due to the hearts movement at impact. Now for the good news. The medical staff expects a full recovery. Of course it will not be easy and will take several weeks for everything to mend. He is heavily sedated but in his brief lucid moments acknowledges questions with a head nod or a thumbs up sign. This is going to be a hard road for him but the consequences could have been far worse.
