Let us talk about science, food, agriculture, nature and survival: IF BEES DIE OUT, MAN WILL ONLY HAVE FOUR YEARS OF LIFE LEFT ON EARTH. -- Albert Einstein Mankind, prepare to die because we are killing the bees at a startling rate. That is not meant to scare you. It is a warning based on scientific facts. Bees are disappearing worldwide fast —in a mysterious phenomenon dubbed Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). The two twin causes are: 1. Chemical pesticides containing called neonicotinoids. They destroy the bees immune system causing them to die en masse. 2. Monoculture—the practice of growing of just one type of crop on a massive scale. As it turns out, pests thrive in monoculture, so massive quantities of pesticides are required to keep them in check. Monoculture also cuts down on the variety of nutrition the bees get. In some areas, bees simply cannot survive due to lack of food. Scientists agree about one thing: If we allow this to continue, our global food supply is at risk.... Colony collapse disorder is the bill were getting for all the things weve done to the bees. You could call it colony collapse disorder of the human being too. Now, what can we do to help protect the bees? There are four ways: 1. Go organic farming or support organic farmers. Buy their produce. 2. Stop using chemical pesticides. 3. Stop monoculture. 4. Have a bee hive. Take care of it. LOVE THE BEES. SAVE OURSELVES AND LOVED ONES. SAVE MANKIND.
