Please pray for a SC family serving in Sub-Saharan Africa - for many in the churches who have been experiencing sickness during the change of seasons (the end of rainy season means it is possible to go to the outlying villages again!). Even family members have had some sore throats, sniffling, fatigue and fevers. They also ask, lift up our family as the German Shepherd we inherited in 2010 from other workers is getting near the end of his life. Vern is now 12 years old and is having difficulty moving around. His appetite is decrasing and he is very lethargic. He has been a faithful guard dog and friend to our family for four years and we want him to finish well. The Lord cares for all of His creatures so we ask you to commit this matter to prayer.
