Please pray for my brother, Gene...he had back surgery on Tuesday and is not doing well at all...they discharged him Friday night...said insurance would not allow them to keep him, then had to admit him again last night...we sat in the ER for 12 hours...the doctor was so arrogant...asking what did he expect, he had had back surgery and was gonna hurt...he couldnt breathe...his legs and feet are huge with fluid retention...I kinda had to get loud...telling him that if he fell when he got home(his sweet wife cannot hold him up) or if he had a heart attack(the doctors said he needed to see a heart doctor), we were looking at a malpractice suit...about 15 minutes later, two new doctors came in and checked him out and said they were gonna admit him and work on getting his pain manageable and do an echo on his heart this morning and when he is able, transfer him to a rehab facility...now I just dont understand why that wasnt the plan from the beginning...when we got him upstairs and was relating the story to his nurse, her comment was simply, God help us...Gene is really sick and needs a touch from our awesome God...thank you!
