Please pray for our team from Vineyard Boise as we travel, learn, and serve the community of Managua, Nicaragua with the Isaiah House through I61 ministries. Team members Tim Cogovan, Jonah Cogovan, Deb Harris, Zack Ure, Cheri Ure, Tara Rothwell, Craig Davis & Aaron Davis will be serving for ten days, learning about the 7 areas of world crisis and working with established local partnerships of ministry teams and organizations within the community. Pray for Kip Sikes, from Vineyard Boise, who will be traveling with our team to do work in other areas while we are there. We appreciate prayers that people in the community would be touched and moved toward changed lives, that we would accurately and genuinely be a light to those we meet as we work alongside other Christians within the community. Please pray for safe travels there and back and that our families back home would be filled with peace while we are away. This is Zacks first missions trip and I would love prayer for him to grow in his faith and have eyes to see and ears to hear, that his walk and the teams walk would deepen and grow in a way that would be life changing for each of us. Please pray the spirit would be ever present, opening doors and softening hearts. Pray that our hosts at Isaiah House will be refreshed and encouraged by our company and that we would be a blessing to them during our stay. I will try to post updates about our experiences so you can share one experience and our journey. Its Zacks first missions trip and both of our first trip to Nicaragua. He will be celebrating his 13th birthday during our stay! My husband Corey Ure went twice with Vineyard Boise during 2013 and fell in love with the country and community. I look forward to seeing all that he has shared with me about the people and his experience. Thank you to all our families and friends for your support and love! Thank you to everyone who graciously sent me with their donations of clothing, school and office supplies that are needed for our full time missionaries and partners in the community. The school and office supplies will be given to the House of Learning where children ages 6-13 in the community are taught English. We will be visiting them during our trip and get to help them for a day practicing action verbs! The clothing donations will be given to a local thrift shop started by the pastors of Ministerio Cristiano La Vina Managua. All your donations, thoughts and especially your prayers are greatly appreciated! If you would like more information about I61, you can learn more about it at I61.org We leave Friday morning and already I am too excited to sleep! I look forward to sharing all our adventures with you
