Please read another touching submission from our Stories of Care: Submitted by M.M.: I am a breast cancer survivor. I went through months of chemo treatment. All my doctors could prescribe were steroids and narcotics - my life was certainly not better living through chemicals. I sought herbal relief and my doctors quietly supported my efforts. As I sat through round after round of chemo, I could look around the treatment room and know who was going to survive. Survivors were the ones who were getting rest, eating better, and were not under stress; we were the marijuana users. The others were fading away with lack of nourishment and sanity. Many of the chemical users were not rebounding after their treatments and gaining strength for the next round. We all have our reasons for supporting compassionate care in Florida, and stories like this one should remind us that while each person’s circumstances are different, our desire to improve the quality of life for those suffering unites us. In order to ensure that medical marijuana makes it onto the ballot in 2014, we need as much help as possible. Please recruit 5 of your family and friends to join United for Care, and help us spread the word across Florida. Click here to receive your own personal recruiter link (You may need to sign in). Thanks to all of you who are doing your part - whether by volunteering, donating funds, or simply helping spread the word.
