Please read, this is important to me. Alright everyone, especially my flight attendant friends, I am taking donations of bags and backpacks to be donated to foster children. Every year hundreds of foster children as forced to move quickly and gather what little belongings they have in trash bags and are shuffled to their next home. These children suffer a lot and do not have much to call their own but by just donating a bag they can keep their belongings together and know it is something that is their own. I have connected with someone in Orange county at a DCF office and I am personally going to drop off everything I can gather to her and they will be distributed to children in programs in Orange county. School supplies and toiletries are also very valuable to them so if you are willing to place any of these in the bags it is greatly appreciated. Even if it is what we grab from our hotel rooms. I know everyone has their own cause and most likely donates regularly and volunteers but I would be very grateful if you could help me with my cause. I am spending the next two weeks gathering these things and will be making a stop by the office the week of the 19th to drop them off. If you have anything call or message me. I am willing to pick them up personally or you can leave something in the lounge for me. Thank you and much love.
