Please see this interesting video interview with owner of Kedem in Manchester countering claims made by the BDS protesters that the shop uses illegal settlement products and is partially owned by the Israeli government. Not that this should be necessary to prove in order to fight these disruptive protests, but it does make you ask, why are they protesting against this shop? According to one girl caught on camera recently its because its an easy target (https://youtube/watch?v=Xv5Ydh7r3K8 ). From all accounts, these street protests in Manchester have been at the centre of anti-Semitic slurs and chants (see our post from yesterday: https://facebook/campaignagainstantisemitism/posts/1454932928118978 which includes only some videos) and have been a cause of misery for surrounding business and for community relations. There have also been further arrests today of anti-Israel activists in Manchester (manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/five-people-arrested-during-city-7628798).
