Please send loving HEALING light to my kitty Jombie (the sweet boy wrapped around my head in my photo) Just this morning i discovered he has a badly broken rear left leg! He was fine yesterday so it must have just occurred! Im at the vet now for an emergency xray. With funds being so tight Im extremely concerned about the cost aside from his overall welfare. The saddest part is that earlier today i was referred to a vet who keeps his prices extremely low to help low income families & those who rescue/trap/spay/neuter/feed/shelter ferals & strays, as I do. Just this morning i brought him there to diagnose not only the newly broken limb, but to also determine the cost of removing a large cancerous lesion on his shoulder & one on his ear thats gradually progressing towards his head. The quotes ive received from other vets have been outrageous & not at all affordable! Well, im beyond pleased that this new vet will charge a fraction of that price AND EVEN INCLUDE MUCH NEEDED DENTAL WORK!!!! But now his leg is suddenly broken too! :(( the first vet does not have xray equip. So he referred me to a much more expensive vet for an emergency xray. If not for this added issue i would have scheduled Jombie for the other surgery asap, now that its so much more affordable. Im so sad to now be facing this broken leg issue too! My poor sweet fellow... :((*** Although Jombie has severe skin cancer, hes been doing very well until now. He patiently allows me to clean his lesions each day, eats & poops normally & gets around quite well considering his cancer until today upon discovering his badly broken leg! We are waiting now for the xray, which will be emailed to the first vet asap. Please visualize that the break will be easily repaired so that we can have all procedures done at the same time for minimal cost to me & minimal risk to him. Oh BLESSED BE & so be it.
