October 30, 2013 PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF ISRAEL Special announcement 10/30 please pray for God’s provision for our Food Bank ministry. We are running short of resources and really need your help. There are many families in the community that come for their needs for food. You can bring the non- perishable can goods (we need peanut butters, spaghetti and sauce, Macaroni & cheese, rice and can vegetables) to the church office or send your financial support to the church address to PODCF food Bank. 10/30 Threefold Training Center (Solution for Life, Work, Community) will start the teaching about - the 1st Century Church & Kingdom living for today- from 7:00 PM until 9:00PM The first Tuesday/Thursday of each month in Room 10 in the Education Center at People of Destiny Christian Fellowship (1619 Ferndale Avenue in Melbourne.) Training started on August 6 and August 8. Next training will be Nov 5th (Tuesday) and 7th (Thursday). He is feeling better without the side effects of some of the medications he took. Please continue to pray for Peter’s total healing. 10/30 please pray for Fran Putnam and her family. Here is her prayer request: “I received a message from my brother this morning that his fiancé (Richelle)’s father is in ICU. Last night he was having a lot of pain, throwing up blood and difficulty breathing. He has a collapsed lung, needed a blood transfusion (two pints low they said), and has internal bleeding. They said they don’t know what has caused it and are bringing in a specialist today to review the case. Richelle’s father’s name is Ron and her mother’s name is Avis. My brother’s name is Frank. Ron is tough and over his lifetime has beat two different types of cancer and open heart surgery. The doctors right now don’t know anything they can do for him, so it is in God’s hands. As I mentioned before in earlier prayer requests, Frank was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year and because of his cancer and immune system being so weak, he had a CT done yesterday, and right now his WBC / lymph nodes are at an extremely high level (they call it panic high/chronic mode),which basically means the lymph nodes are so enlarged he can get serious infections easily and for no reason. Because of this, he should not go to the hospital with Richelle—of course he drove her dad with her last night and stayed with them until this morning. It is going to be very difficult for him to not be there as he is a very giving person and I know he wants to support and help everyone. Please pray for Ron and God’s will for recovery and many more years with his family; if that is not God’s will may he prepare them and provide comfort and Grace. Also Pray for Frank and healing of the cancer and its underlying causes (he also has psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis and complications from that). “ 10/30 please pray for Millie Lyon (was a missionary to Peru years past) who had a little accident at home with their dog and caused injury on her legs. Her legs are infected. Please pray in Jesus’ name for a healthy outcome under the doctors’ care to this accident with no infection traveling into the knee replacement areas. 10/30 May Heinly is back home safely from her mission trip to Lebanon. Thank you everybody for your prayer coverage for this trip that really has a life changing effect on her as a believer. 10/30 please continue to pray for Norma Zengotita’s sister Carmen for her heart problems and cancer treatments. 10/30 please continue to pray for Dennis Vreeland’s complete recovery. He is still in Holmes Regional Medical Center under the doctors’ observation and care. 10/30 Please pray for Marie Mason. She is in need of a part time job.
