Please share.... Update from his family on Missing Luke Simmonds F.B. page.............Monday Evening 17th March. Ok, its now Monday evening. Still no sign of Luke and we have not heard from him, no confirmed sightings but having said this, it may be possible that he does not want to be found at the moment and this may be the case until he feels ready to. With this in mind it may not be a good idea to crowd him or to make him feel more anxious, all that is important is that he is safe and somewhere that he can have the space that he needs. Therefore, we would urge anybody that may happen to see him to private message us on here just to confirm a sighting (you do not have to let us know where he was or even who you are) it is just to let us know that he is safe. He is NOT on the run as he is not in any trouble. He may be wanting to reinvent his life to gain a different direction and may be using this time as safe time to settle himself out. It still may be the case that he is in the Manchester area maybe close to New York Street or Manchester Piccadilly area in particular, again, this is not certain, it is purely from eliminating other possibilities and knowing that there are many places around there that can provide shelter and do so in confidence. He may not want to be found right now and we may need to take a different angle with a more subtle and sensitive approach so that he does not and will not feel crowded. With this in mind, ringing the police would not be helpful unless of course he was seen to be in any danger which we sincerely hope would not be the case. A quiet word may just be the correct way in confidence, either to him if you see him or by message on here which would remain confidential as well. Just to let us know that he is safe. Thats all. Obviously the police are doing their own thing with their inquiries, not to track him down for anything, but just to know he is safe, that is completely separate to this, but us as the public could just try this approach? We have to be mindful not to make him feel that he is pressured in any way, he isnt. As long as his family know he is safe they would be happy wherever he was or wherever he decided to stay. We all Love him dearly and respect his space if this is what he wants, support is there if he needs it. I hope that everybody reading this can understand why we feel we need to take this approach now, it is because there is hope, its not just about getting or having him back here because he has choices that we all respect, he belongs only where he chooses to be. If anybody happens to see him in those areas please give a quiet word on here. It will be confidential and only shared with requested family or named person. If we know he is safe we can end the searching. This will be updated if anything changes but it will remain open until such time as we know Luke is safe somewhere. He may be wearing different clothing to that which was mentioned in the original missing description and could be wearing anything now.
