Please share and tag others! April is Child Abuse Awareness month. There will be a vigil on April 8th on the front steps of the courthouse. This is a coordinated community effort between Starr CountyTexas (Eloy Vera), 229th Judicial District Attorneys office (Omar Escobar Jr.), Starr County Attorneys Office (Victor Canales), Child Welfare Board, Child Protective Services, law enforcement, the legal community, schools, health care professionals, and many more. Lets bring awareness to our community. It should not hurt to be a child!
