Please share my video post & story! On Sep 11, 2014, I took my BMW to Walmart on hwy 27 Clermont Fl, for a routine oil change. They end up telling me they had a freak accident & blew up my engine. They told me not to worry, their insurance CMI would pay for my damages immediately. They also told me they would have my car towed to any mechanic of my choice, at their expense & provide me with a rental car. Their agent from CMI, Jeffrey Weeks, did not contact me till nearly a week later. He told me their was no evidence of wrong doing, & I would have to pay to have my car towed to a ASE certified mechanic, for an inspection & they would not provide me a rental. Reluctantly, I paid to have my car towed to an ASE certified mechanic. Within 1 hour, the mechanic tells me the fan was broken in 11 different places going evenly around.(He explained to me that this is clear evidence Walmarts mechanics left a tool on top of my engine & turned on the ignition, causing the explosion). After the mechanics sent their report to CMIs Mr Weeks, he still denied my claim, saying their is no evidence it was their fault. I was left with no choice, but to retain the services of an attorney. After weeks of going back and fourth, CMI still denied my claim. Mr. Weeks told my attorney that not only is their no evidence of wrong doing, but that my car broke down off of their property & I waited more then 2 weeks to get my car inspected after they damaged it. Now, as you can CLEARLY see in this video I posted, Walmarts manager clearly states my car is inside their garage, & they wouldnt even let me look at the damage they caused because it was in their evidence room. After I made them aware I have this video, only now have they decided to re-open my case. Today is January 6, 2015. For 4 months I have not had a car. Im in real estate, so I make my living driving around. FOR 4 MONTHS I have not been able to go to work & make a living to provide for my family, through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years. I still have no settlement, & just today Walmarts insurance CMI, informed me that they might be willing to pay, FOR JUST THE DAMAGES TO MY CAR. To add insult, they expect me to sign a confidentiality agreement! Please share this story & stop giving this evil corporation money. After some research, Ive found that theyve done this same exact thing to thousands of other customers.
