DID YOU KNOW...Alzs is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S.? More than 5 million Americans are living with this disease. An American develops Alzs disease every 68 seconds. In 2050, an American will develop the disease every 33 seconds. (Facts taken from Alzs Association website). Yes, this disease is becoming an epidemic. A friend of mine recently produced a song in tribute to legendary artist Glen Campbell--who was diagnosed with Alzs in early 2011--and his family and friends, as well as for ALL other persons suffering from or affected by Alzheimers disease.
