Please take 9 minutes and watch this. This is Why I Ride. I have experienced what it is like to bring a WWII Veteran home that has been gone for 70 years. I have experienced what it is like, to see people standing on the side of the road, some clapping (6:23 mark), some saluting, some with their hands over their hearts. I have experienced being a pall bearer at these veterans funerals because there were not enough family left to do it or none could be found. I have experienced what it was like to bring a live soldier home and walk with him into a restaurant because he wanted American food ASAP and see the whole restaurant stand and clap and salute. I have experienced riding with 200- 400 motorcycles as we escort a young KIA to his final resting place. But I HAVE NOT experienced the pain and agony of a family that has lost their young son or daughter who gave the ultimate sacrifice. But they go and fight so I can stay home and ride, attend worship service, go on a date with my wife, celebrate the holidays with my family. I am forever grateful for these fine young men and women and I am forever grateful to be a part of the Patriot Guard Riders who will not let our heroes be forgotten ever again!!!
