Please take this off if need be Wendi but i am not happy one bit with the council and wanted to know what the public think of it. The area outside boots in town well i should say the skate park lol is not going to be gritted or salted in the bad weather. I left work last week and walked across it and nearly fell over as it was so slippery then the next morning it was still the same. I emailed the council and they have said they do not have the funds to do anything and they need members of the public to grit and salt it. They will provide the salt and grit and that is it my concern is i kept my balance but what if an old person or young child falls who will be held to blame they will pass the buck knowing the council. This needs to be dealt with maybe if other members of the public complain then we might get them to do something. Sorry if this post is not allowed but i needed to warn other people to be careful on this pathway before someone does do their self an injury.
