Please take time to Read and Understand. Note: To all the people who made things possible, thank you. Today is my enrolment for my Masters degree, I didnt go. Last Sept 14, I took an exam for Graduate studies in Ateneo. I successfully passed the exam and was granted a slot in my chosen course: Literary and Cultural Studies. I prayed to God for funds so I may be able to shoulder the fees but it was not granted. For some people, they might see this as a failure or an answered prayer but to me its more than that. At some point, I asked God why He allowed me to pass when in the end I will not be able study? I also asked Him why did He allow the desire to be conceived and give birth to passion? As I seek for answers, I realized that God didnt hide His face from me, infact, He did answer ALL my questions then and there, heres how: 1. He allowed me to pass and be admitted to prove that He can use the weak to shame the proud. 2. He allowed the desire to grow intense because in these type of situations, we acknowledge that we have greater calling in Christ and nothing is impossible. 3. The funds where not provided because we cannot serve two masters at the same time. 4. Malachi 3:18 tells us that when we are faithful in giving to the Lord, He will show us the difference between those who serve Him and those who dont. Want to know the difference? God says in Romans 8:28 All things work together for the good of those who serve Him and those who are called according to His purpose. In this life, we desire to be someone, somebody that we sometimes become insecure of ourselves, our positions and even our relationship with other people but God tells us that having Him in our lives is more than conquering the world. With all sincerity, Im asking for forgiveness because I bragged about my skills and talents, I know that apart from God, I am nothing.
