Please talk to our daughters about safety and not walking alone. Our daughters are precious. Our daughters are sacred. I have just dealt with an incident this morning. Something has to change in our communities. Violence against women must stop and our daughters need to be kept safe. Young women this is not about not being able to take care of yourself. Our women are effected by violence in our community and outside of our community. I will be trying to work on a better action plan and trying to communicate with organization and community. I will also be contacting RCMP Aboriginal Services to try and address safety of our Women.
