Please try to join us on Thursday, 24 October 8-9 pm in Hoover 107 for a film discussion on Beyond Borders. The conversation, facilitated by Board of Trustee member, David Hosler, will discuss the ethical issues and big questions found in the movie Beyond Borders. The plot involves Sarah Jordan (Angelina Jolie), a naïve American socialite, witnessing a controversial plea delivered by a renegade humanitarian (Clive Owen) at a fundraising gala. His plea, made on behalf of impoverished children under his care, turns Sarah’s life upside down. Students will watch the movie at their convenience, on their own time, before this event.
