There are two things that you must know about Africa. 1) The only way Africa will ever avoid religious extremism, terrorism, and genocide, is with improvements to education. Without an educated population, they will fall victim to poverty, crime, despair, and extremism. The mighty US military will be completely useless if the rest of Africa becomes like Somalia. There will be no end to the disease and hate that will spew out of this continent if that happens. Education is the only way to stop this. 2) Africans have become painfully dependent on foreigners to make big things happen. Any money raised by me will only be spent on revenue generating projects, like the garden and goat pen that will be built. I dont care if the kids are hungry for a week, I will not perpetuate the cycle of dependency on foreign donations. They must have the means to support themselves. Thats what I want to provide them. If you believe in this, donate, and I will make sure my contacts here use the money properly. If I run out of people I trust to manage the money, and ensure it is only used to promote sustainable, revenue generating projects that encourage independence, all donations will be returned.
