Pleasing God? DO YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING THAT REALLY PLEASES GOD? If you are thinking that obedience is one thing, that really pleases God, you are right. But in order to be Obedient, you have to have Faith that God is Who He says He is, and what ever you do for HIm, has to be done out of your Love for Him! Obedience is just not enough, as we shall see! Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Luke 19:12-26 So He (Jesus) said, A nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and then return. 13 And he called ten of his slaves, and gave them ten minas and said to them, Do business with this until I come back. 14 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not want this man to reign over us. 15 When he returned, after receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these slaves, to whom he had given the money, be called to him so that he might know what business they had done. 16 The first appeared, saying, Master, your mina has made ten minas more. 17 And he said to him, Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities. 18 The second came, saying, Your mina, master, has made five minas. 19 And he said to him also, And you are to be over five cities. 20 Another came, saying, Master, here is your mina, which I kept put away in a handkerchief; 21 for I was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow. 22 He (the Master) said to him, By your own words I will judge you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am an exacting man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, I would have collected it with interest? 24 Then he said to the bystanders, Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas. 25 And they said to him, Master, he has ten minas already. 26 I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. 1 John 4:16-18 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. So we can see what happens when someone serves God, but does not Love God and does not have Faith in Him as their Rewarder. Even what they have will be taken away from them. God is very pleased when we have Faith that He is The Giver and The Blesser and He is the rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 11, is about those people of Faith, who believed in and loved God and believed that God is who He says He is. Meaning that they believed in Gods Word! And believing in Gods Word then they obeyed God out of their Love for Him. Here is some great news for YOU today. As a Born Again Believer, God is our Rewarder and when you serve Him out of YOUR FAITH AND YOUR LOVE for Him, you will be REWARDED! NOT MAYBE, BUT YOU WILL BE! John 6:9-13 There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people ? 10 Jesus said, Have the people sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted. 12 When they were filled, He said to His disciples, Gather up the leftover fragments so that nothing will be lost. 13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. Here we see a boy, who had a small lunch just enough, for himself, but out of HIS LOVE AND FAITH IN JESUS, he willingly turned his whole lunch over to Him. Not holding back anything and Jesus took the 5 loaves and 2 fish, Gave thanks to the Father and fed 5,000 men, plus women and children with it. Everyone ate as much as they wanted, then Jesus told them to BE SURE TO GATHER UP THE LEFT OVERS, AND THERE WAS 12 BASKETS FULL LEFT OVER. WHY? So the boy got to eat as much as he wanted that day, AND GOD REWARDED HIM.. Not only with all the food he wanted and all he could carry home that day, but also with a great testimony about Jesus. But, you have to BELIEVE that God is your rewarder, then give to HIM. What He asks of you to give to Him. IN FAITH AND OUT OF YOUR LOVE FOR HIM, give Him your finances, time, possessions and abilities, AND YOU CAN KNOW FOR SURE, HE WILL RETURN THEM TO YOU BLESSED, ANOINTED, MAGNIFIED AND MULTIPLIED!.....HAVE A GREAT DAY IN THE LORD...AMEN. https://youtube/watch?v=sETNIEVMP5I
