Poem on my thoughts of how Bella felt in the Twilight Series. The Cool Night Air As cool night air fell upon my arms, I longed for you to hold me close As I felt the warmth of the hair on your forearm touch my bare skin. My mind was lost as I thought of sinking into your massively warm arms So you could envelope me against your work hardened body. As your roughened finger caressed my silken shoulder, I wished for Another time when there were no complications to restrain us. My mind was lost in bliss as I thought of holding you next to me Like a cherished jewel lost then found in a different realm. As the cool night air fell upon my skin, I strained to glimpse at Your reaction as I felt a chill run down my spine. A grin spreading broad. Full of hunger and longing, lost in time to another, wanting more, but Holding back feelings that cannot be spoken aloud and not fully understood. Questioning… why and how- Do I dare? So soft…so warm…Could it be love? I shook only a brief moment in time, but I felt your cool gentle breath Ripple slowly and deliberately across my chest as you leaned in closer. You spoke intoxicatingly and I immediately dizzied; Captured in your spell. Lost somewhere, it was only you and I standing there too close. Your large hand crept slowing down my side as I tried to hide Any trace of longing, but my eyes betrayed my feelings far too easy. Much too late, they flashed to you and I could not resist that smile, Your deep voice close and moist to my ear made my head spin. Those around seemed to disappear in a haze. My heartbeat…thumped Strong…My heart pierced…Your bite seductive with vampire skill. I need air… I must move… I jump, but am seized by your strong grip. Deftly, it catches me like a delicate snowflake before I topple over you. As the cool night air fell upon me, I stole a few moments alone with you My mind still lost in vivid thoughts of what might have been. Dream or reality? It was gone… Nothing left but a fuzzy feeling And rushing blood through my veins warmed where you once touched.
