Poem written in the late 1970s by Catherine Holland when elected to the Bethabara Board. I have been elected to the board you say? Recount the votes, for there is no way! Lord, many times I have too proud and when I talk, I tend to be loud! As a policewomen I would say, stop or Ill shoot! Lord, as your servant on the board, these words will not do. Help me as I serve to speak soft and true. May my term on the the board reflect the Love of Christ in all I do. Lord, as a board, blessings and trouble we will share. Let us, Bethabaras new board remember to take everything to our Lord in prayer. May our church together serve the Lord. Let each of us Join together in one accord.
