Cover Art The Taj Mahal of Family Medicine This graphic is a compilation of the responses from Family Physicians collected on the Academy of Family Physicians of India Facebook forum where participants described their favourite part of our profession with single word responses. The collaboration was a part of the #1WordforFamilyMedicine project performed between WONCA Polaris (North Americas New and Future Family Physicians Movement) as well as the Spice Route (South Asian Young Doctors Movement), which have served as active platforms for Family Physicians to collaborate within their respective regions - as well as with their international cohorts from around the world. The words have been presented in the form of Indias Taj Mahal whose beautiful white marble architecture is recognized worldwide. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as the jewel of Mughal architecture in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the worlds heritage. Family Medicine is still in its infancy in India, however the goal is to take it to new heights and to build a health system which would be as strong as Taj Mahal even after centuries and admired all over world.
