Police Blotter 4/3/14 - 4/4/14 A complainant reported a possibly intoxicated female inside a Walden Avenue store. The female left the area in a vehicle. Patrol located the vehicle as it was pulling into a residence on Walden Avenue. The 49 year old female driver displayed obvious signs of intoxication. After being told that she was under arrest for suspicion of D.W.I., the female became uncooperative, attempting to enter the residence and refusing several commands to stop. The subject had to be physically restrained by patrols. The subject was charged with D.W.I. and resisting arrest. Cheektowaga Police Department had a 25 year old female subject in custody on a Lancaster court warrant at a Transit Road motel. Patrols took custody of the subject, who was later transported to the Erie County Holding Center. Officers conducted traffic details on Enchanted Forest, Hemlock Lane and Walden Avenue. Patrols responded to a Freeman Drive motel after receiving a report that a room had been rented by a male subject using a stolen credit card. The complainant also reported that the subject was using the complainants van without permission. After the complainant did not show up, the van was towed from the scene and the subject was released without charges. Officers, Town Line Fire Department and L.V.A.C. responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Westwood Road. A complainant from St. Joseph Street reported items were stolen from her vehicle. Depew Police detectives arrested a 27 year old female on an outstanding Lancaster Town Court warrant. Patrols brought the subject in front of a Town Court justice for arraignment. A resident of Jenny Lane reported criminal mischief that had been done to his company vehicle. Cheektowaga P.D. officers arrested a 38 year old male on a Town of Lancaster Court warrant. The subject was arraigned in Town Court. Patrols later transported the subject to the Holding Center. Lancaster dispatchers handled 8 E.M.S. requests. Patrol arrested a 28 year old female on Pleasant Avenue on an outstanding Village of Lancaster Court warrant. The subject was transported to Village Court.
