Police Shooting of Tamir Rice Is Ruled a Homicide. America stand up and get your head right! People have been questioning whether or not this too was a justifiable homicide and national TV commentators, who should be taken off the air for their ignorance and propensity to fan racial hatred and division, go on rants attempting to justify why Black men are the cause of their own death because a minor fraction of the Black male population who look like us commit crimes. Are you kidding me?! If youre a white man with a badge, were supposed to believe you are innocent and the Black person is guilty? Were supposed to feel sorry that you because you were taught to fear us by your parents, grandparents, community, television and some 20 year old rap star? With all the heinous things white men have done to Black people, their own women and community, and other people around the world, if you apply the same logic to them, then we could justify locking up all white men in CIA Black Sites (prisons) around the world and not let them see a day of sunlight. We could also raid their bank accounts and make them pay back every Black person whos family lineage started in this country before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 legally freed us from the racial hatred, torment, violence and generational poverty that guys like them subjected us to for 350 years in this country. Sounds wrong. Sounds ridiculous. So does thinking I might deserve to die because some guy named Pookie who grew up in my hood and shares my skin tone pulled a trigger. All of these white males shooting dozens of kids in school yards and college classrooms across the country and killing their parents - should we fear all white males in school buildings, too? This whole race-bating nonsense has to stop. Its dangerous for our country, for its people and its makes us look like uncaring, insensitive and racist fools to the rest of the world. These men, boys and women whove lost their lives without provocation deserve justice...and they should be at home for dinner tonight to celebrate the holiday season with their families.
