Police Update: Just wanted to inform you of a stolen vehicle incident that occurred not too far from LRR today. A vehicle was stolen from a residence a little further from LRR, but was located off Braddock Road (near the Colonnade SC). The officer attempted the traffic stop on the vehicle and the suspect ran. Thanks to our solid perimeter and the use of our specialty units, the suspect was apprehended. Several UNLOCKED vehicles in a nearby community were rummaged through, three had items removed from the vehicle. The helicopter was up for quite a while and we had a numerous officers on scene in the LRR community.
