Police and Sea Rescue volunteers are winding down their search for two men believed adrift somewhere off the coast near Edithburgh, due to bad light. The men had gone out fishing last night in a 20 foot fibreglass half-cabin boat at about 10pm and were due to return at midnight. A family member contacted police after the men called to say they were having engine trouble at about 4am. The men are believed to be somewhere south, south-east of Edithburgh. Sea Rescue volunteers are currently making their way back to shore along with the police helicopter and a fixed wing aircraft which are returning to Adelaide. An aircraft from Victoria, mounted with an infrared camera, will continue the search overnight. Police will recommence their search at first light tomorrow.
