Police and sheriff departments justifying and excusing abusive and disrespectful conduct toward citizens, discredit not only their department but the entire legal system in the eyes of the people. Too many cops today are quick to judge and condemn people based on the way they look or even in reaction to the justifiable distrust of them. If police acted like peace officers instead of mob enforcers, they would have much easier and less stressful jobs. It would also be helpful if judges enforced the law and didn’t release the dredges of society back on the streets over and over again; creating the illusion necessary to strengthen the police state in the minds of the people. Releasing a dangerous convicted murderer, pedophile, rapist, mugger, or thief while throwing the book at pot smokers isn’t helping matters one bit. We The People are not the enemy of the law… the law in conformity to the Constitution and Bill of Rights, but we’re vociferously against usurpation and attacks against us and the law by enforcers of the lawlessness of the legislatures. The one principle of righteous law in America is simple and based on the Declaration of Independence… “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —…”. This is translated simply as your rights end where mine begin and my rights end where yours begin. I have no right to do you harm and you have no right to do me harm… Government acts when an individual is attacked, either physically in their person, reputation, or property. Really simple isn’t it when you view the law based on the principles of the Declaration of Independence… those are the laws and principles I gave my consent to, not the fraud and usurpation. The state has no rights, only powers that we grant them in the Constitution; It cannot be injured nor be a victim but is charged solely to secure our rights from the assault of others.
