Police are appealing for help to identify a man believed to have shouted racial abuse at two women in Gosport High Street on Saturday afternoon (12 July). Sometime between 3 and 3.30pm a 15 and 30-year-old woman with a toddler in a pushchair were walking past Nelsons Bar when they were racially abused by a man sitting outside. The man is decribed as white, very short ginger hair and tattoos on his arm. He was wearing shorts and no top. Anyone who can help identify this man is asked to contact Gosport Safer Neighbourhoods team on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
