Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted at a Warwick Farm motel overnight. (Friday 20 June 2014). Around 10.30pm police were called to the motel on the Hume Highway, opposite Warwick Farm racecourse. At the motel’s reception area they found a 28-year-old man with serious head and limb injuries. He was assessed on site by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment. A crime scene was established in one of the motel rooms and items have been seized. They will be forensically examined. At this time Police have been unable to speak to the injured man.
