Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a store in Potts Point this morning. About 1am (Thursday 16 January 2014), officers attached to Kings Cross Local Area Command were called to the store on Victoria Street, following reports of an armed hold-up at the location. It’s believed a man entered the store and threatened the attendant with a knife, before fleeing with cash a short time later. No one was injured during the incident. A crime scene has been established and will be examined by specialist forensic officers and detectives. Investigations into the matter are continuing and officers would now like to speak to a man who may be able to assist in their inquiries. The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 20-25 years of age, approximately 183cm tall and of a large build. He was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper and long pants.
