Police are appealing for information following the aggravated robbery of a woman at Wollongong last night. About 10:30pm, Thursday 2 October 2014, a 22-year-old woman was walking home along Gladstone Avenue when she walked past a group of boys. When she entered her unit complex the boys surrounded her and asked her for money before threatening to stab her and grabbing at her bag. She attempted to ring police on her mobile phone but the boys managed to grab the phone and handbag before running off. The woman gave chase and followed the boys to Osborne Street where she lost sight of them. Police from Wollongong Local Area Command were called to the scene and conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the males. The male first has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, 13-years-old, about 155cm tall with blonde hair and wearing a cap and red jumper. The second male has been described as having a tanned complexion, about 165cm tall with a swollen eye, very short hair and wearing a grey hooded jumper while there is no description of the other male.
